David McLauchlan
CEO and Executive Director

David is the co-founder, CEO and Executive Director of Buddy Platform. Before launching Buddy, David gained extensive international business experience, spending nearly 11 years at Microsoft Corporation in Redmond, WA in the hardware, software and development teams. Prior to moving to the US, David was a management consultant for PwC in Australia. David holds a Master of Engineering and a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering (Hons) from the University of South Australia.

Richard Jacroux

Richard Jacroux is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Buddy Platform. Richard has a 20 year background in financial management and accounting, with an extensive background in operational efficiency, forecasting, budgeting and management reporting, ERP implementation and upgrades, strategic leadership and guiding and restructuring business practices. He was named Chief Financial Officer of the year by Puget Sound Business Journal in 2010. Richard holds a Masters/MBA in Management from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and accounting from the University of Washington.

Adam Schultz
General Manager, Australia and VP Business Development

Adam Schultz is the Australian GM and VP Business Development for Buddy Platform, where is jointly responsible for the Australian operations as well as business development opportunities for Buddy worldwide. Prior to joining Buddy, Adam spent 15 years working extensively with Utilities throughout Australia/NZ, South East Asia and North America as a trusted advisor, project engineer and project manager. Adam holds a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering with a specialisation in the use of Operational Technology (a precursor to IoT) in critical infrastructure.

Charles Eliot
VP of Product

Charles Eliot is the VP of Product, responsible for Buddy’s Ohm and Data product lines. He was educated at MIT and Oxford, and was awarded a Rhodes Scholarship in 1979. Over a long career Charles has written embedded operating systems for home microcomputers, trading systems for money brokers, and stats systems for live sports TV. He was at Microsoft for 24 years, working on the Exchange, CRM, Windows and Bing teams, as well as a stint as Head of Engineering Services for Skype.

Robin Giese
VP of Engineering

Robin Giese is the VP of Engineering for Buddy Platform, where he is responsible for leading Buddy’s Hardware and Software Engineering teams. Robin spent 15 years at Microsoft Corporation prior to joining Buddy, working in software and software management on Microsoft’s Windows Core team. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) from Princeton University.

Tim Ritchie
VP of Sales and Partnerships

Tim Ritchie is the Vice President of Sales and Partnerships at Buddy Platform and has twenty five years of experience in customer-facing roles, nearly half of that with SaaS companies.Tim has helped clients like Apple, Accenture, Starbucks, CBS, Microsoft, Vodafone, and March of Dimes navigate complex technology ecosystems and take advantage of the unique opportunities new technologies present to solve problems and drive new business models. Tim holds a BA (Political Science) from the University of Washington.

Brian Seitz
VP of Marketing and Communications

Brian Seitz is the VP of Marketing and Communications for Buddy Platform, and is responsible for shaping and sharing the Buddy story world-wide. Brian has extensive communications experience, working for a range of Fortune 500 companies and nonprofit organizations over an 18 year career – including nine years Microsoft Corporation and five years at global communications agency WE. Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts (Public Relations) from Central Washington University.
