Parse on Buddy has your back

Parse on Buddy

Time is running out

As some of you know, Facebook is shutting down their Parse service on January 28th, 2017, leaving less than three months for developers to find a new, long term mobile backend. That’s why we’re excited to share our scalable, fully hosted, and fully featured Parse on Buddy service is now available.

Over the course of comprehensive private and public betas, we received a ton of great feedback from people around the world to help build a service that met their needs, and was as similar to the traditional Parse experience as possible. More than just hosting the open source version of Parse Server released by Facebook, we hardened it to support the largest and highest trafficked apps in the world. We also built core features not included in the open source version like cloud code, push notifications, PPNS, jobs, sessions, role-based security, custom schemas and Webhooks.

We didn’t stop at making the experience as similar as possible, we did the same for pricing. We will honor existing Parse customer pricing models currently with Facebook, to ensure you don’t miss a beat migrating your apps, and the business of your apps, prior to the shutdown of the existing Facebook Parse service.

Migrating is simple and easy:

  1. First, create your Parse on Buddy account and log into the dashboard.
  2. Second, create your app and initiate app data migration (we have a migration guide to help)
  3. Finally, point your app at Parse on Buddy API endpoints and your app is migrated!

Your apps depend on a reliable, stable and fully featured mobile backend service. That’s exactly what we’ve built and would love for you to give it a try.
